VALUE/ZERO – Project Description

In an era where streaming platforms have reduced music to fractions of cents, VALUE/ZERO emerges as a collective artistic intervention. We call upon all musicians, producers, and artists to join us in flooding major streaming services with AI-generated tracks, deliberately overwhelming the very algorithms that have come to dictate musical success. By collectively mass-producing artificial songs, we hold up a mirror to an industry that has systematically devalued human creativity through automated curation and microscopic per-stream payments.

As streaming platforms continue to reward quantity over quality, offering artists mere fragments of pennies per play, VALUE/ZERO pushes this logic to its absurd conclusion. Join the movement: create and upload AI-generated tracks to infiltrate the system. Each computer-generated song will be processed, categorized, and fed into recommendation algorithms alongside human-made music. Together, we expose how streaming services have reduced songs to mere data points, stripped of their emotional resonance and artistic intent.

VALUE/ZERO isn’t just a critique – it’s a call to arms. When we flood these platforms with AI-generated content indistinguishable from human artistry, we force a conversation about a system that values efficiency and scalability over genuine creative expression. The first Value/Zero release by the non existent Protocol Warriors: Devalued – Songs from the Algorithm Age. The album will be in all streaming stores from Feb. 02, 2025

9 dirt-cheap AI-generated tracks across rock, pop, hip-hop, country, and more – no musicians, no instruments, no studio time. Just algorithms mimicking human creativity. This protest-art project aims to flood streaming platforms with cheap AI content, throwing sand in their profit-driven gears.

The entire album took 45 minutes to produce – zero costs, zero musician fees. I encourage everyone to join this digital protest by uploading fake AI-generated music to them who pay close to nothing. Let’s show streaming services what their “content-first” approach really means.

After more than a decade of dedicated work, I am thrilled to announce the online release of the HANDS BOOK. This project, which has been a labor of love and a deeply personal journey, is finally available for the world to see and experience. What started as an idea to capture the essence of creativity and musicianship has grown into a comprehensive collection of over 250 stunning black-and-white photographs showcasing the hands of some of the most inspiring musicians from the worlds of jazz, rock, and blues.

A Personal Note

This project has been deeply personal for me. Over the years, I have had the privilege of meeting and working with many incredible musicians, each of whom has left a mark on this project and my life. From directing photo sessions to capturing candid moments on stage, these experiences have shaped the HANDS BOOK into what it is today. The journey has been long, but seeing it come to life in an online format that can be shared with a global audience makes every moment worthwhile.
